This is poorly stated in English. If y ou mean "when unprepared who is affected?" When climbing mountains, the climbers are attached by a rope. If one falls, they could all be affected. As in any endeavor, preparation is the first step.

The lower levels of oxygen at higher altitudes would lead to problems, unless the person has grown accustomed to it.
