Two sentences have one subject and one verb. You can eliminate them right away. These are the last two on that list.
The other two sentences have two sets of subject and verb ... each. Do you see them? I like your choice better than A, mostly because I consider ‘like’ to be incorrect when introducing a subordinate/dependent clause.
I’d say you are correct, but you should also ask your teacher about why an incorrect sentence with a dependent clause was included in the first place.
