The addition of CH3OH to an aqueous solution will cause the mass to increase. Of course. It will cause the freezing point to decrease. of course. It will cause the boiling point to increase. of course. What's left? Does CH3OH conduct electricity? Does pure water conduct electricity?
The mass of the solution will change as a result of the newly added substance. Because of colligative properties, anytime something is added to solution, the freezing point is lowered and the boiling point is raised. Water does not conduct electricity on its own, and since CH3OH is not an acid or a base, it will not conduct electricity either, so that does not change.
