1. Make sure the numbers aren't imaginary.
(Imaginary numbers can't be real)
2. Irritational cannot be written as a fraction.

Soooo, you are correct! :)

So the answer is 100000% D?
Answered by Steve
NO! 36 = 6^2, so sqrt(36) = 6, a rational number.

4^2 = 16 and 5^2 = 25
so 21 has no rational square root.
The answer is C
Answered by Damon
no sqrt 36 = 6
but what is sqrt 21 ?
Answered by anonymous
square root 21=4.582575695, so is the answer C? Because I do not understand what you are saying. C is the answer?
