i understand wanting to get your problems right everyone but you shouldn't cheat. The reason everyone goes to school is to learn. When you cheat you don't learn. Then in the future you won't know this stuff and you will wish you had learned it. I know i'm not the boss of you, but you should still think about this. the whole POINT of jikskha is so people can help others to find the answer not just give it to them! I understand that lots of people won't agree with me, but this is something that i had to say.

topic 8 South asia? anyone doing that test???
Marie, you wanna know why people cheat? It's because school teaches you useless stuff, that your going to forget as soon as you finish a test for it. Why do I need to know that 500000 million years ago I was a monkey, does that help me in my life of getting a job or a house? no. School only teaches you useless stuff, I wish I could learn how to do taxes, or get a job so i dont become a hobo when i grow up. but all school does is teach me, and everyone, useless information, for years. So when people are cheating we do the lesson faster and skip having to learn useless information to do something actually productive. Plus I have a horrible memory so if i try to study it won't help at all. Anyway Marie not attacking you, just attacking school cause im tired of it, also hopefully you know how it feels for other people, and why they cheat.
idk has a great point. School shouldn't depend on "math" and stuff that doesn't apply to my life when I grow up. I should learn how to do taxes, how to take care of children as some teens don't know. I should learn how to get a job, how to cook, how to do a mortgage, how to use a bank, School is honestly terrible the only good thing we are learning is how to count coins and stuff like that. Health is also a good class for people who may wanna work in the medical field. But PE It's just... not important. Some math is but do I really need to know how to work with pi in my life. Do I really need to know how America became America? Do I REALLY need to know how to write a haiku? No, I need to learn how to cook, how to do taxes, how to get a job, how to use a bank. And people say "Parents are for that" Well guess what. Some kids don't have parents, Some kids don't have good parents. Some kids have parents that don't care.
Agreed, agreed..... School is useless.
I agree to some of the stuff they teach you like evolution is not even proven it a theory infact scientist are split between many theories and school teachers are telling us it's true like it's going to help us make money in the real world . But some stuff is useful like math and learning good enough grammer because that is what we are going to need to get a job at a job interview. But like i should have said earlier i think school good when you judge people if they can memorize stuff that is realy not important . But I have to get good grades so I can get out of hear any way , so we still have to make an attemt to use our resources.
plus half of he stuff i learned in the past month I probably forgot no matter how hard i studied so i think in the future I'm not going to remember the economy of south Asia . I'm just going to look it up when i want to go to south Asia.
Thanks to Erm I got a 50 these are the right answers 1.A 2.c 3.d 4.A. 5. Unequal treatment of women and large populations. 6.Hindu and Muslim 7.D 8.do your self. Btw this is the connexxus academy 7th grade
