Which is the solution to the inequality 9-4<3x-5

1. 3
2. 2
3. 1
4. 0
so first I added 5 to both sides
14-4x<3x
then add 4x to each side
14<7x
14/7<x
2<x
so choie #1 the answer of 3
Is this correct?

3 answers

none of the answers are correct.
x>2, not equal to two.
Now if your are looking to see which of the answers can be a solution, the 3 can be a solution, but it is not THE single solution.
Of the multiple choice answers above, I believe 3 is the only answer that fits.
the reason why I think 3 is correct because question doesn't ask x being equal to 2 like you stated but it says the x is larger than 2, from the answer I got.
