For the first question simplify each and see which ones are equal.
We can do a) together... collect like terms so the -7n and the 16n go together
= 9n - 9
and take a look at d)
that is the same answer as a)
Now you try b) and c) and see what you get : )

2) is incorrect because a negative times a negative number is a positive number...
check your work...
