You could re-write it so that the ones with the same letter are side by side... just watch the signs 6t + t + 7 - 2 =7t.....

Do you need to solve for x?
Method 1: Plot both points, connect the line, count the rise and run and use the slope formula Method 2: y2 - y1 divided by (x2-x1) Both methods work.

Well you can right away see that g(x) opens downwards while f(x) opens upwards. Perhaps you need to plot both graphs... This will help you see what the rules are telling you about the compression factor...
Think about the axis (horizontal x, versus vertical y) and then think about compression (getting fatter) and stretch (getting skinnier). You might want to graph a few to see if you can see the results. You might want to also go over the notes your teacher...

BEDMAS will help you. But since you only have multiplication... you can work from left to right : )

You can either use the factor theorem or long divide to find the roots : ) I would suggest checking when x = 2 This will help you find the first factor : )

Think about the shape of an x^4 graph... Now think about the shape of an -x^4 graph... (hint: the x^4 looks a wee bit like a w... while the -x^4 looks a wee bit like a w reflected over the x-axis (so a flipped w)... A regular w has both ends heading towar...

It is asking how many 1/6th in 8 yards. That is 8 divided by 1/6 so 8/1 x 6/1 = 48 There are 48 pieces that are 1/6 yards long in an 8 yard long wire : )

Jamie is correct. Either she knows one of the two equal angles, and thus just needs to do 180 - 2(the angle she knows) to get the other angle. OR Jamie knows the single angle in the isosceles triangle, and just needs to subtract it from 180 and divide the...

The Short Answer: (about the cycle itself is...) The Sun's magnetic field goes through a cycle, called the solar cycle. Every 11 years or so, the Sun's magnetic field completely flips. This means that the Sun's north and south poles switch places. Then it...

And... giant eruptions on the sun increase on the solar cycle, they send coronal mass ejections into space and this can cause lights in the sky called Aurora. It can also impact radio communications, and electricity grids on earth. (from NASA)

hint: 1) use your midpoint formula to find X, and then the midpoint formula again to find z 2) Use those two points to find the slope of the slope of the new line 3) Use the slope and a point to find the equation of the new line.

You could "estimate", and then do lots and lots of practice : ) If you estimate... you could use "friendly" numbers. So 37% could be "nice and friendly" at 50% and 280 would become 300. So your answer would be less than 150, and... if you use 25% that wou...

If you do a "google search" of your exact phrase... the first hit is a "Proof by Induction" for your exact question. Remember that a proof by Induction has two steps. 1) show true for n=1 2) The induction step... assume true for n=k, show true for n=k+1

Start by using the geometric formula with r=1/2. Sub in 1/80 as the term value and n=5, then solve for "a" the first term. Once you have the first term, sub it and the sum of 127/320 into the sum formula and solve for n : )
