When do 2 and 2 make more than 4?

There are several songs with a title two and two make five. Someone might remember the titles/artists.

It can also be argued in terms of significant figures. 2 is to one significant figure so is 2 +/- 1. I.e. each value could be between 1 and 3 so the result of adding 2 and 2 will lay be between 3 and 5.

Any help??
