What weight of copper(II) oxide, CuO, would theoretically be produced from 1.623 grams of copper? (mol. masses Cu = 63.55; O = 16.00)

Mass of CuO / Mass of Cu = (63.55+16)/63.55 = 1.252
So from 1.623 g of Cu, you'd get...
So from 1.623 g of Cu, I'd get:

ANS: 1.252 X 1.623 g of Cu = 2.032 g OR
ANS: 1.623 g of Cu/1.252 = 1.296 g? OR
ANS: 1.623 - 1.252 = 0.371 g
I am still confused what you mean by that question.
