what the diference in meaning between the following pairs of sentences

1.The first sentence is a yes o no answer.

Both questions require only yes or no answers, but they are not asking exactly the same thing.
The first is asking the question in general -- do you like... (or not)?
The second seems to be asking if someone would like to go to a particular play or movie.
