What is the volume occupied by 24.4 g of argon gas at a pressure of 1.31 atm and a temperature of 464 K?
n=24.4g P=1.31atm T=464 Find V
i tried working it out and i got 7091.98 and is inncorrect can i get some help?

n is not 24.4g . n is the number of moles, in this case, n=24.4g/molmassArgon
so how do i solve this problem? i dnt understand
find n, as I laid out.
PV=nRT
solve for V
PV=nRT
solve for V
(1.31)(V)=(24.4)(464)
and i got 11320 ? is that correct?
and i got 11320 ? is that correct?
No. As Bob Pursley told you, n is NOT 24.4. AND he told you to calculate n.
how do you do that?
(1.31)V=(0.61)(464)?
