What is your SUBJECT? (not your school)

School Subject: _______ (Examples: math, science, algebra, geography)
mass percent is number of grams of solute dissolved in 100 g of solvent.

2.5 g of salt dissolved in 250 g of water.
So
1 g of salt dissolved in 100 g of water (solvent)
=>
so mass percent = 1%
Mass percent = (mass solute/mass solution)*100 = ?
mass solute = 2.50 grams
mass solution = 250 g solvent + 2.50 g salt = 252.5 g solution.
Then % m/m = (2.50/252.5)*100 = 0.99
I agree with DrBob222's solution.
