What is meant by the subthemes: death as pervading life, time as the essence of death and self destruction, night as the environment of death, and death as the great isolator as applied to Pablo Neruda's poems, especially Residence on Earth?

Well I have some things from an article:

opposition of life and death, living in order to move closer to death

All life is a movement toward
death, Neruda associates time with death

time symbol serves as a bridge between the related themes of death and of solitude
Answered by Ms. Sue
