using the pythagorean theorum

you have a right circular cone with a radius of 3 and height of 6
is this how you would figure this out
c^2=3^2+6^2
c^2=9+36
c^2=45
c=6.7

Yes, that is how you would calculate the slant height, c. Is that what was asked for?

Ot did they want an area or volume?
yes thank you
