If it's
(20/4) - 5 + 12, that is
5 - 5 + 12 = +12.
This is a question my teacher gave me and there are no parenthesis or whatever you might think it needs. It's 20 divided by 4 minus 5 plus 12. I think the answer is -12, but I'm not sure. PLEASE HELP!!!

It's not solvable as its stated.
20/4 = 5
5-5 = 0
0 + 12 = 12
OR
20/(4-5) = -20
-20 + 12 = -8
OR
You get the idea --
20/4 = 5
5-5 = 0
0 + 12 = 12

-20 + 12 = -8
