The volume of pointy things with straight sides is in general
(1/3)* area of base * height
so here
V = (1/3) (pi r^2) h
or
48 = (1/3) (3.14* 1.69) h
h = 3*48 / (3.14 * 1.69)

V = (1/3) (pi r^2) h
or
48 = (1/3) (3.14* 1.69) h
h = 3*48 / (3.14 * 1.69)
By the way the units of this question do not make much sense. I assume it is all inches or all meters
