The transgression of being alone in the State is like bullying in our society. Can you explain to me how this is an analogy. We came up with this analogy for Anthem by Ayn Rand and I don't see how this like an analogy. Please explain.

I've never read Ayn Rand, but if by "being alone" means being single (unmarried) is called a transgression, or a sin, is that not like bullying? Or alone in one's political views or whatever one is alone at being or thinking, is that a sin?
