Let S be the number of points scored by the Seahawks and R be the number of points scored by the Raiders
S=13+R
S+R=47
S+R=47
13+R+R=47
13+2R=47
2R=34
R=17
S+R=47
S+17=47
S=30
Therefore, the Seahawks scored 30 points, and the Raiders scored 17 points.
S=13+R
S+R=47
S+R=47
13+R+R=47
13+2R=47
2R=34
R=17
S+R=47
S+17=47
S=30
Therefore, the Seahawks scored 30 points, and the Raiders scored 17 points.

Simpler approach:
s + r = 47
s - r = 13 , add them
2s = 60
s = 30 , from s+r = 47
30 + r = 47
r = 17
s + r = 47
s - r = 13 , add them
2s = 60
s = 30 , from s+r = 47
30 + r = 47
r = 17

That's an alternative method, but still works. Use whichever method you are comfortable with @blake.
