The expression like a ton of bricks means “a crushing weight.” Would being hit by an actual ton of bricks hurt if it happened on the moon?

A) Yes, it would hurt because the bricks would still have the same weight.

will someone please help?
the Moon's gravity is about 1/6th of Earth's

so the weight of the bricks would (only) be about 330 lb
... as opposed to 2000 lb on Earth

being "hit" implies a moving object ... and momentum
... which is mass related

the mass of the bricks is the same ... Moon or Earth or anywhere
in a nutshell, I think that the answer is: Yes, it would hurt because the bricks would still have the same mass. Downvote me if I'm wrong, I guess, but this is my personal thought.
