sodium trioxocarbonate(iv) crystals NaCO3.XH2O contains 62.94% by mass of water of crystallization.Find the value of X?

(X * molar mass H2O) /
[(molar mass NaCO3) + (X * molar mass H2O)] = .6294
I would think that was Na2CO3.xH2O and not NaCO3.xH2O
google agrees with the Dr

perhaps just a typo?
Hydrated salt =Na2co3 ×H2o
% by mass of hydrated salt
=100-62•94=37•06%
Mass of anhydrous salt Na2Co3 in the hydrated salt
(2*Na)+(1*c)+(3*o)
(2*23)+(1*12)+(3*o)
=46+12+48
=106g
