How big do you want to make the drawing?
Suppose you wanted to make it no more than 8 inches by 8 inches. If you used a scale of inch on the drawing equal to 2 feet in the real room. If your room is 10 feet by 12 feet, your drawing would be 5 inches by 6 inches.
