My answer is 4x^3 +2x^2 +2x ( don't quote me on this)

And for those people that might use this answer use at your own risk I'm 90% sure this is the answer but then again I'm bad at algebra so...…. yeah again use cautiously.

you have mismatched brackets, that is, the number of left brackets should
equal the number of right brackets, they don't.
ignoring the final bracket
(9x^3 + 2x^2 -5x +4)-5x^3 -7x+4
= 9x^3 + 2x^2 -5x +4 -5x^3 -7x+4
= 4x^3 + 2x^2 - 12x + 8
if you meant:
(9x^3 + 2x^2 -5x +4)-(5x^3 -7x+4)
= 9x^3 + 2x^2 -5x +4 - 5x^3 + 7x - 4
= 4x^3 + 2x^2 + 2x
