Simplify:

4xy^3/z^2 divided by (8x^2y/z^3)^2

I came up with the following:

2.2.x.y.y.y.z.z.z.z.z/z.z.z2.2.16.x.x.x.x.y.y

Simplified into x^3y/16x^3.

Is this correct?

Thanks for your help earlier and now.

No. x^3*y/16 = y/16, and that is not the answer.

You've got a (1/z^2) divided by a (1/z^6), which should be z^4, yet you have no "z" term in your answer.

Try writing it as
4x*y^3*z^6/(z^2*64*x^4*y^2)
and then canceling terms.
