Simplify 2 3/18 + 5 3/12 - 4 2/4

1 answer

there many way to do this i liek to change it all to improper fraction first

2 3/18= 39/18 ; 5 3/12= 63/12 ; 4 2/4= 18/4

so you have:

(39/18) + (63/12) - (18/4) and then follow order of operation PEMDAS(remember you need common denominator to add or subtract fractions)
