Delimitations of the Study on Workload and Stress Management in Manyana Primary School
In this study, we set certain boundaries to focus our research on specific areas related to workload and stress management at Manyana Primary School. These boundaries help keep our study clear and manageable. The delimitations include:
-
Scope of Participants: We will only include teachers and staff members at Manyana Primary School. Students and parents will not be part of this study to keep the focus on the adult perspectives regarding workload and stress.
-
Time Frame: The study will consider the current academic year only. This means we will look at workloads and stress levels from the start of the school year until now, rather than comparing it with previous years.
-
Type of Workload: We will focus specifically on teaching workloads, such as lesson planning, grading, and classroom management. Other responsibilities, like administrative tasks or extracurricular duties, will not be included.
-
Stress Factors: Our study will examine specific sources of stress, such as classroom size, resources, and administrative support. Broader social or personal stress factors outside of the school environment will not be considered.
-
Method of Data Collection: The research will rely on surveys and interviews conducted with the selected participants. This means we will not use observational methods or data from other schools to ensure a focused approach.
By defining these delimitations, we aim to have a clear understanding of how workload and stress affect teachers and staff at Manyana Primary School, allowing for more precise findings and recommendations.
