I would respond with
"Robert, you are wrong, the probability is 1/8"
Robert says that if you toss three coins you get 3 H (3 Heads),2 H ( 2 heads), 1 H(1 Head), or oH(o Heads), so the probabliity of getting three heads is 1/4. How do you respond?

Robert is wrong. The four possible outcomes are not equally likely.
The probability of getting either zero or three heads in three tosses is 1/8 (for each).
The probability of getting either one or two heads is 3/8 (for each)
What does this have to do with geometry?

your guess is as goods as mine.
I think it has more to do with probablity
