Riddle 1: Two griffins fall into a large glass bowl. The glass bowl's sides are slippery and there is a liquid in the bottom. The liquid dampened the griffins' wings. One griffin did something while the other did not. The giffin that did something survived while the other drowned in the liquid.

Riddle 2: At the scene of the murder of Gideon's sister, five suspects, one of whom is the guilty party, are being interrogated by James. Each of the suspects gives one statement. Two suspects are lying. The statements are listed below.
Rosalie: Caspian committed the murder
Cosmos: I did not do it
Joanne: It was not Anahita
Caspian: Rosalie is lying when she says I did it
Anahita: Cosmos is telling the truth
