Hi

After reading the article and doing the test, I’m a little confused with the results, they show acute stress that without treatment can become chronic stress. They mention that if the symptoms that cause stress remain activated for more than a few weeks, the stress could become chronic. It refers to the fact that the chronic flow of stress hormones (cortisol) can affect your body, causing you to age more quickly and make you prone to disease. and that to prevent any health problems, they recommend consulting a medical professional for treatment.

For me, I have the life that I want, “I’m healthy, I like my job with nice harmony with my coworkers, I have a good husband we buy a house, my family is now with me, soon my mom will be with us”, is not a perfect life but is a good life. But maybe my subconscious is telling me something. Now I ask myself is my mental health, ok? I have depression or anxiety.

I always thought that feels a little be stress was normal, everyday is different, and some days could better than other, so now unexpectedly I can’t identify what is the cause of my stress, because for me my level of stress always was on normal. I'm not a fitness person by I like walk with my husband, I go out with my friends, I'm tried to do learn something new every day.

Hi Leidy,

Thank you for sharing your insights and reflections on the article and your results. It's great to hear that you enjoy a fulfilling life with supportive relationships and a sense of stability. However, I understand your confusion about differentiating between normal stress and something that might require attention.

It's completely normal to experience varying levels of stress from day to day, especially in our busy lives. Sometimes, stress can manifest from sources we don’t readily recognize or acknowledge, and it sounds like you’re being very introspective about your mental health. The fact that you're questioning your mental well-being shows that you’re aware and proactive, which is a positive step.

If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or if the feelings persist, it may be beneficial to speak with a mental health professional. They can help you explore any underlying concerns related to anxiety or depression. Remember, it's okay to seek support even when everything seems to be going well on the surface. Sometimes, just talking about what you're feeling can provide clarity and relief.

In the meantime, continue to engage in your walks, learn new things, and spend time with loved ones. Those activities can be great for your mental health. You're doing a lot of things right, and it's important to take care of yourself both physically and mentally.

Take care, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need more support!

Best,
