I will assume that g(x) = √(x-4)
f o g = f(g(x))
= f(√(x-4) )
= (√(x-4))^2 + 1
= x-4+1
= x-3
f o g = f(g(x))
= f(√(x-4) )
= (√(x-4))^2 + 1
= x-4+1
= x-3
Thanks very much. I am using the alt key plus 251 at the same time get the square root sign but that is not what comes up. Can you tell me what it is that you are doing to get it?
