Clue 1: the number are between 70 and 82
Clue 2: the first number has 2 ones

same spaces for second problem.
Clue 1: the numbers are between 30 and 45.

Ok,the first number is 72 (it has two ones), then 73, 74 ...

On the second, the number before the last has to be 42

This is using the unit digit as number Cubes, that is, two ones.

I don't understand the response:
How come the number starts at 72 and not 71?
Also, if the 42 is the next to last number in the number line then what would be the first number?

My child is doing the same worksheet and I have no idea. What does "it has two ones" mean?
I'm suspecting the "two ones" to be adding 1 twice to the number. Such as 70+1+1 = 72
