just find two numbers where one is 3 more than the other:
1,4
7,10
etc.
Then use them to make the factors
(x+1)(x-4) = x^2-3x-4
(x+7)(x-10) = x^2-3x-70
etc.
so b becomes -4,-70, etc.
Name four values of b which make the expression factorable:
x^2 - 3x + b
