A rectangular prism is basically like a cube, except all of the sides can be rectangles.
May you guys help me understand "rectangular prism"?

Common name: a box
As you can see in this web site, a rectangular prism is a box -- like a tissue box, or cereal box.

rectangular prism is box with 6 faces
where the surface area is a=2((width*height)+(length*width) +(length*height))
and the volume is v=Lenght*width*height
