3/2x - 4 = 16
(1/3)x = 12.
x/3 = 12,
Multiply both sides by 3:
X = 36.

Add 4 to both sides:
3x/2 - 4+4 = 16 + 4,
3x/2 = 20,
Multiply both sides by 2:
3x = 40,

X = 40/3 = 13 1/3.
