make the story end with her wining the big game

Just like any other day in New York City its gloomy weather cars driving onto the puddles left by the rain, people talking throughout the city, lights so bright the night stars cannot be seen, it's perfect right? Few streets down 104 street to be exact a family of two is moving in with a mother and daughter named Ava Wright and Sienna Wright, “Just look at our beautiful home!” Ava said with a satisfied sigh “ yeah just perfect mom” Sienna spoke back with a sarcastic sigh Ava rolls her eyes at her daughter as they both unback the car and walk into the house. The home is very modern, nothing too special but just enough for their new start. As Sienna walks in her room she spots a paper on her bed she goes and picks it up, “Hey mom what's this for?” she said a bit confused Ava walks in “oh forgot to tell you but i signed you up for volleyball at your new school” Sienna turns to her mother with a shocked expression “me? In volleyball?! I have never played anything like that in my life!” Ava leaned against the door frame “oh calm yourself we moved here for a fresh start right? So why not do something you never done before”
Sienna with the same shocked expression now turned into a glare “ are you kidding me? I'm going to look like a fool” Ava sighed “ Oh quit the attitude you'll be just fine”.
The next morning as Sienna is packing her backpack for her first day at her new high school she has butterflies in her stomach about starting a new school and a new sport yet alone an actual game the whole school will see she catches the bus and looks around at the students. They all give her a odd expression as they never seen her before than a girl with bright purple hair waved her over, Sienna sat by her with a small wave and a smile than the girl spoke “ Hi! Im Kira you and what is your name?” Kira said with a very happy expression Sienna than replied with “ oh my name is Sienna nice to meet you”, Kira nodded “excuse the others i would say new yorkers aren't fond of newbies” she said with a joking manner bumping into Siennas shoulder, Sienna laughed a bit at her joke and they both goofed off in the back of the bus while the other students did their own things Sienna begane to feel less nervous than before. The bus stopped and the doors flew open as the bus driver signaled for everyone to get off, Sienna and Kira both walked off the bus together still laughing and making jokes as before than as they both walked into the school Sienna noticed a gym “oh wow they never had a big gym like this at my old school “ she said with admiration Kira looked at the gym also “ really? Where did you live before New York?” Sienna turned to her “ I lived in Texas” she said with a bit of a sad tone Kira noticed but didnt wana be to nosey so she tried changing the topic “ We mostly use this gym for sport practices did you sign up for any?” Sienna looked back at the gym then her again “Oh yeah almost forgot about that my mom signed be up for volly ball even though i've never played in my life” As they continued to walk to there first class Kira thought on what she said then replied “ Oh i'm sure you won't be too bad” Sienna laughed “ is that your way nicely telling me i wont sprain an ankle?” They both laughed it off and sat by each other in the class.
The math teacher walked in and snapped his fingers to get everyone's attention “Good morning class today we have a new student please make sure to give a warm welcome to Sienna Wright” he says with a smile. He then turned and started teaching the class, some hours later they finished all their classes Sienna began to walk to the gym and Kira followed behind “hey wait up!” she says almost out of breath from running to get to Sienna “oh sorry” she says as she begins to walk slower as Kiera beings to catch up as they both enter in the gym they see other girls in their uniforms ready for practice

Kira nudged Sienna with a grin. “Welcome to your new world of volleyball! You ready to impress them?”

Sienna bit her lip nervously. “I’m not sure about that. What if I mess up?”

Kira waved her hand dismissively. “Just have fun! That’s what it’s all about. Plus, I’m here to help you.”

With that, they joined the team, and Sienna immediately felt the energy buzzing around the gym. The girls were friendly, and as they introduced themselves, Sienna started to feel more at ease. Coach Thompson, a tall and intimidating figure, welcomed everyone and outlined what the team would be focusing on for the upcoming season. The big game was just two weeks away, and Sienna was determined to at least not embarrass herself.

Practice passed in a blur of running drills and learning the basic moves. Kira stayed close by Sienna’s side, encouraging her with every missed pass and helping her understand the game little by little. Although Sienna stumbled and faltered, she admired the determination of her teammates, their laughter echoing through the gym, slowly boosting her confidence.

As the weeks went by, Sienna pushed herself at every practice, making sure she learned something new each day. She became fond of the feeling of teamwork—everyone cheered for one another, especially when someone made a great play. With Kira's help, Sienna learned to serve, pass, and eventually even spike the ball. The anxiety that once consumed her started to fade away.

Finally, the day of the big game arrived. The atmosphere in the gym was electric. Students crowded the bleachers, their cheers and excitement creating a palpable energy. Sienna paced back and forth in the locker room, heart racing. “What if I mess it up? What if I let everyone down?”

Kira placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “You’ve trained hard, Sienna. Remember, just focus on doing your best. We’ve got your back.”

As the two stepped out onto the court, the crowd erupted. Sienna took a deep breath, absorbing the moment. The game started off fast, and Sienna found herself caught up in the whirlwind of plays. But the nerves resurfaced when the opposing team scored five quick points.

It was time for the coach to call a timeout. Sienna watched as her teammates gathered in a huddle, their faces serious but their demeanor encouraging. “Listen,” Coach Thompson said, “this is not just about winning. It’s about teamwork and showing what we’ve trained for. We play like a family out there. Let’s turn this around.”

The girls nodded, their determination re-energized. As the huddle broke, Sienna felt a surge of courage. When they returned to the court, she felt the rhythm of the game shift. They began to coordinate better, working as a unit.

After a few intense rallies, it was Sienna’s turn to serve. With a steady hand, she tossed the ball into the air. As the ball connected with her hand, she felt everything click. It sailed over the net perfectly, and the opposing team scrambled to catch it. The roar of the crowd was deafening as her serve went untouched, score after score coming from her pass.

With every successful play, Sienna’s confidence grew. The game was neck and neck, tension thick in the air. It was now the final minutes, and both teams were neck and neck, the scoreboard reflecting the tight contest.

Sienna found herself on the front line, the score tied, and her heart was pounding in her ears. Suddenly, the ball was set up high above the net—an opportunity to spike. This was it. Taking a deep breath, she leaped, swinging her arm with all her might. The ball soared across the gym, slamming into the opposite court with a loud thud.

And just like that, the whistle blew, signaling the end of the game. The scoreboard lit up—victory for Sienna and her team. Cheers erupted around her, drowning out her worries. She turned to see her teammates engulfing her in jubilant hugs.

“I can’t believe we did it!” Kira shouted, her eyes sparkling.

Sienna beamed, overwhelmed with joy. “We won! I actually contributed!”

Ava, who had been watching from the sidelines, rushed onto the court and enveloped Sienna in a warm hug. “I’m so proud of you! You took a chance and it paid off!”

In that moment, surrounded by cheers and laughter, Sienna realized that she had not only won the big game, but she had also conquered her fears and found her place in this new chapter of her life. New York City, with its gloomy weather and bright lights, felt a little bit brighter that day, all thanks to the girl who decided to take her shot.
