I will assume your ellipse is
x^2/36 + y^2/11 = 1
so a = 6 and b = √11 with the foci along the x-axis
for that kind of ellipse,
c^2 = a^2 - b^2
= 36 - 11 = 25
c = ± 5
thus the foci are (5,0) and (-5,0)
