Let f(x)=2x^2-x+5 and g(x)=3x^2-3x-2 calculate h(1), if h(x)=f(x)+g(x)

I don't understand how I'm supposed to solve this. If anyone knows the answer or how to solve it it would be great.

h(1) = f(1)+g(1) = (2*1-1+5)+(3*1-3-2) = 6-2 = 4

or,

h(x) = f(x)+g(x)
= 2x^2-x+5 + 3x^2-3x-2
= 5x^2-4x+3
so, h(1) = 5-4+3 = 4
Oh okay I get it, thanks for explaining.
