Let f(x)=2x^2-x+5 and g(x)=3x^2-3x-2 calculate h(1), if h(x)=f(x)+g(x) I don't understand how I'm supposed to solve this. If anyone knows the answer or how to solve it it would be great.

The expression - 5t^2 + 40t predicts the height, in meters, of an object t seconds after a person launches it into the air. Using this expression, how many seconds will it take the object to hit the ground? How do I solve this?
