Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. First of all, I know what a homophone is but I haven't the faintest idea what you are to do! What does "I have an iPod" have to do with this poast? If there are 1 blanks, does only one word go in each blank? That can not be, if you need "a" (or is it any form of "avoir?") and the preposition "à." Were you given any further instructions, a model, something? If you have done any that you know to be correct, please post those so I can try to figure out what on earth you are to do!

K, we're doing homophones right now, and the two words we're doing is a(as in avoir) and à(preposition) and we're supposed to use these two in these sentences.
Il ne ________rien _________ manger maintenant, and I don't know where to put what.
thanks

P.S. All that seems to make sense is the following:
Il n'a rien à manger maintenant. = He has nothing to eat now.

Hello :) I'm french and I was visiting this forum. So yes, the answer is "Il n'a rien à manger maintenant".
Don't worry, this is some hard part of French, ans a lot of people do this sort of mistake. To give you an idea, I'm 15 and like 50% of the pupils who are my age do such mistakes. It makes me laugh, but it's true french is hard because of these things ^^
"a" is ALWAYQ the verb "avoir", just remember this ;)
Well, Good luck with this =p
