(sec T + csc T) / (1+tan T) -- notice the insertion of the necessary brackets
= (1/cosT + 1/sinT)/(1 + sinT/cosT)
= ( (sinT + cosT)/(sinTcosT) )/( (cosT+sinT)/cosT )
= cosT/(sinTcosT)
= 1/sinT
= cscT
= (1/cosT + 1/sinT)/(1 + sinT/cosT)
= ( (sinT + cosT)/(sinTcosT) )/( (cosT+sinT)/cosT )
= cosT/(sinTcosT)
= 1/sinT
= cscT
