Is this equation balanced or unbalanced?
H3PO4 and H4P2O7+H2)
The first equation has 3 Hydrogen, 1 Phosphorus, and 4 Oxygen. HOw do you find the second equations Oxygen?
1 answer
I don't see two equations. I think I may see your problem. H3PO4 is not one equation and H4P2O7 a second. H3PO4 is part of an equation and H4P2O7 is another part of an equation. To answer your question, however, you're right about H3PO4. H4P2O7 has 4 H atoms, 2 P atoms, and 7 O atoms. The +H2 part is not a part of the H4P2O7. Want to know what it's called? Pyrophosphoric acid.
