Is anything wrong with the suject- verb agreement in this sentence.
The rod and scepter signifies the power of the king.

I am trying to figure out if signifies is suppose to be signified or is nothing wrong with it.

Yes, the problem is ....the subject is plural.... rod and scepter.

The verb is singular ...... signifies
