Reflecting on my journey at UFS, I can clearly see how much I have grown in my leadership abilities, particularly in public speaking and problem-solving. Initially, the very thought of standing before an audience filled me with anxiety, and I often hesitated when faced with challenges, opting to play it safe rather than take initiative. However, through a series of workshops, group projects, and supportive mentorship opportunities, I slowly began to embrace discomfort as a catalyst for growth. Each presentation became a stepping stone, where I learned not just to speak, but to engage and inspire my peers. Simultaneously, problem-solving shifted from a daunting obstacle to an exciting puzzle, where I learned to approach issues with a collaborative mindset. This transformation has deepened my understanding of accountability, empathy, and resilience—attributes I know will serve me well as I continue to lead and uplift others. I now feel more equipped and confident to tackle challenges head-on, embodying the values instilled at UFS, and I am excited to contribute meaningfully as a leader in my community.
