In outer space, a constat net force of magnitude 140 N is exerted on a 32.5 kg probe initially at rest. (a) what acceleration does thie force produce? (b) how far does the probe travel in 10.0 s...

I got a which equals 4.31 m.s^2 but how do i solve for b

Use
S=ut+0.5at2
S=distance travelled
u=initial velocity (=0)
t=10 s.
a=4.31 m/s/s

g is not involved because it is in outer space.
where did you get the 0.5 ??
actually the formula says
S=ut+at2/2
(ut plus half at2)
I now realize that the 0.5 is confusing.
and i did 0(10) + 0.5(4.31 m/s/s)(10)^2= 225.5 and that is not right because the answer is 215
You may have put in the wrong number on the calculator, because 431/2=215.5 ≈ 215
WTF man
