In English class, I have to write a 2 voice poem. My teacher said that I am supposed to make it 10 lines longs on each side. Does that mean that it is supposed to go back and forth 10 times or each side has to have 10 lines? (What I mean by that is that just like in this question, after each line runs out of room, it starts a next line. Is it supposed to be like that or does it have to go back a forth 10 times?) Thanks ahead of time!

Each side has to have 10 lines.
Which type of line? I mentioned 2 earlier.
Oh. A "line" can take more than one line of type.

Here is an example of a two-voice poem. As you can see, there are far more than 10 lines each, but the back-and-forth is as you described above.

It's rather a fun poem to read!
