If you do the function from week from the present time... then it would be
f(x) = 3.45 + .3x
no solution
"The past perfect is NOT used to indicate an action which began in previous past time and is still in progress in (simple) past time; the imperfect tense is used for this purpose:
Hacía cuatro años que vivíamos aquí. We had lived (had been living) here for four years. " --taken from the link
So if I wanted to say something "had been used" long ago, that's not an action that's still occuring, right? So would it be okay to say "habia usado"?
Ah, ok. I multiplied the (x-7) out in the denominator and must have multiplied wrong. Thank you!
Thank you
Set up a ratio oz/in. so you have 6/8 to x/16. Then you cross mutiply so you have 16*6=8x. 16*6=96 ,SO 96=8x. Then you divide 96 by 8 to get 12. so you will need 12 oz. of dough
Thank you you saved my butt!!!!!!!

But just to be sure, it's asking how history, society, and culture are important towards the stories, right?
I'm not exactly sure on the prompt, but my teacher was making a big emphasis on the history, society, and culture for the prompt. I'm not sure if she wants me to focus on the stories or the subject in general.
Thanks Reiny
The answers "anonymous" posted are not completely correct. I usually would not be interested in posting on here, but I referred back to this page when clarifying and answer I was unsure about.
Thankfully, the answers I needed help with were not the ones that are wrong. But I will help you out by identifying which answers were incorrect, and although it will not eliminate your task completely, it will make it much, much easier. Take what you can get!
I doubt you are even reading this part, probably just skimming the page for the full set of answers as I have done before. Most of the students who are assigned this course did not take it because it interests them, they merely took it to gain credit for an elective and get them that much closer to graduating. So I understand the frustration in having to read a book on kids when it doesn't even hold your attention.
So I'd like to help you out, and hope you read this post and compare it to the answers posted by "anonymous" and that you get a good score. :) I'd hate to see you cheat, and get a bad score.
I realize that I probably shouldn't say I agree with cheating at all, but I've been there with these tests. And inaccuracy is frustrating.
Here are the answers that were wrong:

So could you please help me please..All help with be so greatly appreciated..
D is the answer.
12m^5 * 6m^6= 72m^11
Add exponents when multiplying= 11
Multiply the constant numbers= 72
-2m^2 *28m^3= -56m^5
(72m^11)/(-56m^5)= (-9/7)m^6
when dividing, the exponents needs to be subtracted. 72 and -56 both go into 8 so reduce it and gives you negative 9/7.
p^2+4p-5= (p-1)(p+5)
p^2+7p+10= (p+2)(p+5)
(p-1)(p+5)/(p+2)(p+5)* p+4/p-1
cross out p+5
p-1/p+2*p+4/p-1
then cross out p-1
since p+4 is the numerator it stays on top.
since p+2 is the denominator it stays at the bottom.
your result will be p+4/p+2
area of tub x depth of water
Therefore a water level rise of 0.9 ft /min
Then, 12 x 0.9 = 10.8 cubic ft/min
ok. This is the question asked. Find the distance between the two points. Round the approximate result to the nearest hundredth. (8,4) and (18,28). This is my answer. [(18-8)^2+(28-4)^2]=26. So I rounded this to the nearest hundredth?? Thank you
Hi Bob, thank you so much for your very useful and honest feedback. Can you give me more pointers on how I could have developed a stronger essay? How do you think I should have approached the essay?

Thank you so much Ms. Sue! I will definitely check my text again but these are some of the questions that I couldn't find information in my text about. Or if I did find info. it didn't really help me with the particular question. But I will definitely check again ;-) Thanks again Ms.Sue! Have a great day!

A launched rocket has an altitude in meters, given by the polynomial h+vt-4.9^2, h is the height in meters v is the velocity in meters per second and t is the number of seconds for which it takes the rocket to become airborne. If the rocket is launched from the top of a tower that is 100 meters and the initial speed is 60 meters per second, what will its height be after 4 seconds rounded to the nearest tenth?
My question was

What you are saying makes perfect sense, but the textbook question specifically says a blood transfusion, and blood has both RBC and plasma.
I presume that "blood transfusion" is a common shorthand for RBC transfusion and I wasn't familiar with that shorthand.

I actually figured out what u was equal to in each of the problems. I just wasn't sure how to answer the rest of the question. But thank you!
Oh, no no. I was able to figure it out based on what you showed me.
You were just surprised that each problem already had the work, and I was simply saying that I was able to figure that part of the question out.
I just wasn't sure how to write the equations as a function of u.
Thank you for your help. I understand it now!
Long story short - I did the hard work, and I didn't think the second part of the question would be that easy, haha.
I found the answer to the question below, but I am not sure how it is supposed to differ from the one above?
Write an equation for a graph obtained by vertically stretching the
graph of y = x2 + 10 by a factor of 19.6, followed by a
vertical shift downward by 35 units.
