In a triangle, the three sides: BC = a = 8, AC = b = 6 and AB = c = 7. What is angle C in degrees? (give your answer to 1 decimal place)!!!

Memorize the cosine law according to its pattern
If you want to find angle C, then your equation must
end with CosC on the right, and have c^2 on the left
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab cosC
plug in your numbers, leaving you with Cos C as the unknown
use arccos on your calculator to find the angle.
that is, press "2nd cos" for most calculators
Hint: your cosC will be a negative decimal, making angle C obtuse.
