Did you do a Venn diagram?
Here's a start.
24+23-7 = 40
so 10 do not like either fruit.

Did you try using Venn diagrams?

You only need two overlapping circles, put 7 in the intersection.
Since the 24 liking oranges would include the 7 for both, the "only orange"
part would be 17, and the only apple part would be 16
adding those up gives us 40.
But there were 50 pupils, so what does it tell you about the remaining 10 students?
You should be able to answer all the individual cases
