In a class of 20 students, 8 drink cocoa, 13 drink fanta and 5 drink cocoa only, how many do not drink cocoa fanta.?

Ok, it is best to draw a venn diagram. Of the 8 who drink cocoa, 3 drink other things. In this case, the only other thing is fanta. So three drink fanta and cocoa. Which means the remaining 10 fanta drinkers do not drink cocoa.
Like Bob suggested make a Venn diagram of 2 intersecting circles within a rectangle (the usual diagram).
8 drink coke, and 5 drink only coke, so clearly 3 must go in the intersection of coke and Fanta, with 5 in the only coke part.
13 drink Fanta, but of those 3 are already accounted for, so put 10 in the only Fanta part of the diagram.
Add up what we have in the circles so far: 5+3+10 = 18 , leaving 2 not accounted for.
They must be inside the rectangle, but outside of either circle.

So we conclude that of the 20 students, 2 drink neither coke nor fanta.
