I'm trying to calculate the tension in a rope. The two ropes are holding up a picture frame that is 100N, each rope is at a 45 degree angle. I'm trying to find the value of the tension of the 1st rope.

T1 = T2. T2[45) = T1[45]

T1[(180-45) + T1[45] = -100[270].
-0.707T1+0.707T1i + 0.707T1+0.707T1i=100
1.414T1i = 100i.
T1 = 70.72 N. = T2.
